Below animation from IITM shows a pretty robust Monsoon Intra-Seasonal Oscillation moving N across core zone in Central India, aided by strong MJO, Rossby wave and +IOD.
A very active 7-10 days of monsoon coming up for #Mumbai MMR and konkan from around 8-17 Sep, which could easily cover the September rainfall average
. Typical triple digit rainfall likely during this period.
