Anthropology in the current perspective

The Anthropology Department of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University in Raipur recently organized lectures on the 'Relevance of Anthropology in the current perspective' to celebrate World Anthropology Day on February 15. According to Ishwar Agrawal, an alumni and Retired Assistant Director General of India at Census of India, New Delhi, the department is facing challenges due to limited recruitment opportunities for anthropologists in relevant government departments.
