Stree 2 box office collection day 2: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's film witnesses over 40 percent drop, still set to earn over Rs 30 crore

The much-anticipated sequel Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has made a big impact at the box office on its first day. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film earned around Rs 51.8 crore nett on its opening day, with an additional Rs 8.5 crore nett from paid previews. The movie, which also features Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee, has outperformed blockbusters like Pathaan, Jawan, Animal, and even Gadar 2 in several mass circuits.
