Zubeen’s memories linger on as fans donate sandalwood for cremation

Residents near Guwahati honored Zubeen Garg. They donated sandalwood trees for his cremation pyre. Dimoria College collected sandalwood. People from Guwahati and Bokakhat also contributed. Zubeen planted a sandalwood branch in 2017. It was used in the ceremony. Locals donated about 10 tons of sandalwood. A Sonapur resident donated a branch.
