Hyd-based engr held in Bhubaneswar for woman’s rape, convert bid

A Hyderabad-based civil engineer was arrested in Bhubaneswar for allegedly raping his girlfriend and attempting to force her to convert her religion. The 33-year-old accused reportedly posed as a Hindu to gain the 22-year-old woman's trust before revealing his true identity and demanding religious conversion. He faces charges of rape, criminal conspiracy, and kidnapping.
