Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma has presented a Rs 17,076.92 crore budget for 2026–27 that introduces no new taxes. The budget emphasizes revenue spending on infrastructure upkeep, government salaries, and key welfare programmes, with notable funding for the 'Bana Kaih' initiative, MLA constituency development, and the health sector. Capital expenditure has been earmarked at Rs 2,982.44 crore.
